IMPA AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE

IMPA Awards of Excellence are instituted to recognize and honor the leadership exhibited by IMPA Certified Members towards cementing the IMPA charter through evangelizing and promoting the power of Image Management for life success, while ensuring far reaching social impact. The awardees are honored at the IMPA Annual Conference. The award includes a trophy and a citation. The categories for these leadership awards are listed below.

Individual Awards:
  1. IMPA Leadership Award for Business Excellence
  2. IMPA Leadership Award for Business Excellence – Debut Metro & Non-Metro
  3. IMPA Leadership Award for Global Excellence
  4. IMPA Leadership Award for Social Impact
  5. IMPA Leadership Award for Innovation
Chapter Award:
  • 5. IMPA Leadership Award for Innovation
    • The eligibility criteria for nomination for each of the awards is different.
    • Each member can nominate himself or herself for more than one award.
    • The nomination forms and the procedure for filing nominations will be circulated to all the IMPA Certified Members every year, on a scheduled date.
    • Fifteen to twenty days’ time would be given for submitting the nominations.
    • The names of the awardees will be declared during the IMPA Annual Conference.
    • The decision of the IMPA Award Selection Committee will be final. The Award Selection Committee will comprise of one/two directors, President of IMPA, one external member (on rotation basis).

    General Documentation to be submitted
    • Nomination via google form, for the Award category applied for
    • The nominee’s short profile and contribution to IMPA
    • Rationale for nomination [write up not exceeding 150 words]
    • Evidence of fulfillment of criteria[Testimonials / Photographs / Feedback/ Media coverage/reports, commendations received/proof of paid work hours with a list of work assignments handled, duly supported by screenshots of credit received in bank account/ gpayetc]
    • Two testimonials or recommendations from recognized members of the community who are aware of the impact achieved through the nominee’s activities.
    • High-resolution photograph of the nominee.
1. IMPA Leadership Award for Business Excellence

Awarded for highest Business Revenue earned through domestic paid professional assignments in Image Management & Soft Skills.

Eligibility for Nomination
  • 1. Must be a Certified member of IMPA – Level 2 & above
  • Each member can nominate himself or herself for more than one award.
  • 2. Must have completed 300 or more hours of paid professional work during the year.
  • 3. All-round excellence in performance, in all the areas mentioned under CLC framework

Details to be submitted other than General Documentation:
  • 1. Excel sheet giving name of client, brief details of assignment, (training/ Consultation), number of hours consulted, fees received. The details must be in chronological order for the one-year period of consideration.
  • 2. Proof of Revenue earned: (must tally with each of the entries given in the excel sheet)
    • Copy of the bank statement or any wallet accounts demarcating the revenue credits received through the year, for professional assignments handled.
    • Invoices raised with proper GST number and receipts issued to the client for payment received.
    • Confirmation letter from the client for having availed the services and paid the amount towards professional fees to the nominee.
  • 3. Photographs of the training/consultation process, testimonials.
2. IMPA Leadership Award for Business Excellence – DEBUT – Metro & Non-Metro

Awarded for highest Business Revenue earned through paid professional assignments in Image Management & Soft Skills by newly certified consultants during the preceding 24 months. Awarded separately for Metro and Non-Metro Chapters.

Eligibility for Nomination
  • 1. 1. Must be a Certified member of IMPA during the preceding 24 months prior to month of nomination for Award.
  • 2. Must have put in mandatory 80 hours of paid professional service during the previous completed year/s.

Details to be submitted other than General Documentation:
  • 4. Excel sheet giving name of client, brief details of assignment, (training/ Consultation), number of hours consulted, fees received. The details must be in chronological order for the one-year period of consideration.
  • 5. Proof of Revenue earned: (must tally with each of the entries given in the excel sheet)
    • Copy of the bank statement or any wallet accounts demarcating the revenue credits received through the year, for professional assignments handled.
    • Invoices raised with proper GST number and receipts issued to the client for payment received.
    • Confirmation letter from the client for having availed the services and paid the amount towards professional fees to the nominee.

3. IMPA Leadership Award for Global Excellence

Awarded for highest Business Revenue earned through paid professional assignments in Image Management & Soft Skills through global clients.

Eligibility for Nomination
  • 1. Must be a certified member of IMPA – Level 2 & above
  • 2. Must have completed 300 or more hours of paid professional work during the year.
  • 3. All-round excellence in performance, in all the areas mentioned under CLC framework.
  • 4. Must have undertaken paid work overseas - for individuals and/or corporates and institutions.

Details to be submitted other than General Documentation:
  • 4. Excel sheet giving name of client, brief details of assignment, (training/ Consultation), number of hours consulted, fees received. The details must be in chronological order for the one-year period of consideration.
  • 5. Proof of Revenue earned: (must tally with each of the entries given in the excel sheet)
    • Copy of the bank statement or any wallet accounts demarcating the revenue credits received through the year, for professional assignments handled.
    • Invoices raised with proper GST number and receipts issued to the client for payment received.
    • Confirmation letter from the client for having availed the services and paid the amount towards professional fees to the nominee.

4. IMPA Leadership Award for Social Impact

Awarded for a great impact created on the underprivileged segment of society and/ or public service segments through CSR activities and training initiatives.

Eligibility for Nomination
  • 1. Must be a Certified member of IMPA
  • 2. Social impact can be made through the following:
    • Significant participation/ conducting of CSR activities, helping underprivileged categories like women, children, disabled, partially disabled, economically backward sections through image related training activities.
    • Instrumental in securing training assignments for CSR activities through corporate tie-ups for long term projects.
    • Any image/ soft skill related training initiative resulting in benefit to large masses of not less than 30 to 50 members belonging to public segments – Policemen, Drivers, Category of workers, Women public transport drivers, Small-businesswomen/men, initiating/ getting involved in any ongoing social project subject to approval of IMPA.

Details to be submitted other than General documentation:
  • 1. An Excel sheet giving the list of CSR activities undertaken with the name of the NGO/ agency/ institution, topics trained, number of hours/days, number of participants who benefited etc..
  • 2. Proof of Activities undertaken: Photographs, correspondence or copy of mails with NGO/ Agency/ Institution/corporate and testimonials after handling the assignment etc
5. IMPA Leadership Award for Innovation

Awarded for creative and innovative practices which become a trendsetting/ path breaking practice beneficial for public or the image management fraternity.

Eligibility for Nomination
  • 1. Must be a certified member of IMPA
  • 2. Innovation can be in any of the following fields and must result in benefitting a large number of people including image consultantfraternity:
    • In practical application of the technical concepts of Image Management
    • In client consultation process / service delivery /take aways
    • Creative practices adopted in spreading public awareness about the Image Industry
    • In applying Image Management to new and unique fields/ industries
    • Innovation in any services offered to a corporate client which becomes ‘talk of the town’
    • Any other unique innovation which benefits people/ image consultants through Image Managementor Soft Skills

Details to be submitted other than General Documentation:
  • 1. A word or PowerPoint document describing the details of the innovative and creative project undertaken and the resultant impact on the clients/public/ fraternity and resultant increase in productivity.
  • 2. Proof of Project completion: Photographs, project reports, relevant documents, project flowcharts, agreements, contracts, client mails, testimonials etc
6. IMPA Best Chapter Award – Metro & Non-Metro

Awarded for fulfilling all the responsibilities and performance parameters successfully and contributing to overall growth of the Chapter, Members and IMPA in general.

Eligibility for Nomination

The Chapter Board must fulfil all the performance parameters stipulated for the Chapter as per the CLC Chart and successfully handled all the functions of the Chapter, for the benefit of the members as well as IMPA. The Chapter Board, consisting of the Chapter President & Secretary will receive the award.

  • 1. The Chapters would be awarded CAPS – Chapter Activity Points – for a set of performance parameters. The total points would be calculated based on the performance of the Chapter, and awardees would be finalized.
