Personal Hygeine & Manners at Roshini

On 21st December 2014, the IMPA Chennai Chapter visited Roshini’s Home, a children’s home. The home had 35 kids aged between 4 and 16, studying from LKG to 12th standard. Since most of them were very young, we told them stories to impart a moral values and about personal hygiene.

Image Consultant Latha WS had conducted a session covering the importance of personal hygiene and good manners. The session was carried out interestingly by involving the kids to do the role-plays to make them understand the concept clear. The kids grasped what was taught to them and summed up the points in their own simple terms.

Following this, Consultant Vinodh Kanth spoke about the importance of keeping a ‘Positive Mindset’ to achieve great things in life. He portrayed it beautifully in simple terms so that the children could understand it and practice it in daily life.

Throughout the session, the kids were very positive, enthusiastic, cheerful and energetic. Also, they artistically exhibited their dancing, singing and story telling skills. It was indeed a wonderful experience for us too!

The session was followed by a hearty lunch for the kids, towards which some of our Chennai image consultants and learners warmly contributed.
