The IMPA Jaipur Chapter curated and hosted a transformative learning session ‘Empowering through Empathy: Supporting Transgender Communities through Soft Skills.’ This enlightening session was led by Dr. Nishta Jain, Udaipur’s first queer-affirmative counsellor, a qualified homoeopath, and a dedicated mental health practitioner.
During this fantastic session, participants gained valuable insights and expert tips on enhancing and developing empathy for LGBTQ+ communities. The session covered effective strategies for engaging with audiences from diverse backgrounds and offered guidance to members on conducting training sessions or consultations specifically tailored to the needs of LGBTQ+ individuals.
The session highlighted the importance of understanding the unique challenges faced by LGBTQ+ communities and emphasised the need for fostering inclusive and supportive environments. Through interactive discussions and practical advice, attendees were equipped with the skills necessary to create a more empathetic and affirming space for all.
Kudos to Shraddha, Krittika, and Team Jaipur for curating a session to support the LGBTQ+ communities through the power of soft skills and empathy!
