Client Discovery And Rapport Building Using NLP

The IMPA GCC Chapter conducted an engaging learning session on “Client Discovery & Rapport Building Using NLP,” facilitated by Nishith Shah, Founder of Thought Labs and NLP Master Trainer.

The highly practical session focused on building instant rapport, understanding clients’ deeper patterns, and reading verbal and non-verbal cues to create trust from the very first interaction. Nishith introduced the concept of “Clean Questions” as a powerful tool to uncover a client’s internal map and needs without imposing assumptions.

Through breakout-room practice and role plays, participants explored the challenges of asking non-leading questions, listening without an agenda, and handling client resistance. The session offered valuable insights into conducting more meaningful discovery conversations and positioning oneself as a trusted advisor.

The session was interactive and well received, with participants expressing strong interest in further NLP learning and development.
