Our Mumbai Chapter had a learning event on "Legally Speaking" on June 19, 2023.
The event was curated and led by Ms. Rashna Jehani, a Legal Expert. The discussion covered:
- The six different types of legal entities: a Sole Proprietorship, an LLP, a Private Limited Company, an OPC, a Partnership Firm, and a Partnership Firm that converts to an LLP.
- Exploring the advantages and benefits of registration, as well as the price and duration of their incorporation, helped dispel some misconceptions about their complexity, suitability, and investments.
- Understanding of the power of 5 types of agreements was shared – NDA, Memorandum of Understanding, Appointment Letter, Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and Intellectual Property Assignment agreement
It was an intriguing session that introduced all the attendees to understanding the legal framework for their individual consulting and training practice.
