The IMPA GCC Chapter conducted an engaging virtual learning session on “The Art of Storytelling,” facilitated by Ms. Shina Rai.

The session explored the fundamentals of effective storytelling, including the three pillars of a great story—Hero, Struggle, and Resolution—and eight storytelling frameworks such as the Hero’s Journey, Story Spine, Three-Act Structure, and Simon Sinek’s Golden Circle.

Through interactive activities such as Six-Word Memoirs and Yes-and Improv, participants experienced how stories can be developed, structured, and adapted for different audiences. The session also highlighted the application of storytelling in workplace communication and education, with emphasis on audience-centric framing and effective retention.

The session was highly interactive and provided participants with practical insights to become more confident and effective storytellers.
