The Four Bodies of Self

The IMPA GCC Chapter successfully conducted an enriching session titled The Four Bodies of Self, led by Ms. Shagufta Patel, a Certified Image Consultant and Transformational Coach.

With her expertise in holistic healing modalities, Shagufta guided participants through the framework of the Physical, Mental, Emotional, and Spiritual bodies, offering practical insights into achieving harmony and personal alignment. The session reinforced the importance of integrating inner transformation with professional image development.

Key Highlights:
The Four Bodies of Self:
Shagufta introduced the concept of the Four Bodies, each contributing uniquely to how we experience life and project our image:

  1. Physical Body: Grooming, posture, movement, and health
  2. Mental Body: Thoughts, beliefs, and cognitive processing
  3. Emotional Body: Feelings, experiences, and emotional intelligence
  4. Spiritual Body: Purpose, values, and inner guidance

Participants explored signs of imbalance, such as fatigue in the Physical Body, overthinking in the Mental Body, emotional outbursts in the Emotional Body, and escapism in the Spiritual Body.

Strategies for Balance: Shagufta shared actionable strategies for nurturing each body:

  • Physical: Movement, nutrition, grooming, rest
  • Mental: Journaling, mindfulness, managing self-talk
  • Emotional: Breathwork, self-expression, emotional awareness
  • Spiritual: Meditation, connecting with nature, reflecting on values

The session concluded on an enriching note, leaving participants with deeper self-awareness and tools to support holistic client transformation.

Kudos to Ms Shagufta Patel for sharing her expertise, and to Team IMPA GCC for organising another insightful and impactful session.
