IMPA Ahmedabad Chapter conducted a CSR session on 12th March 2022. The session was titled – ‘Safar – Tamana se Udaan Tak’. The CSR session was organised for Aashray Social Welfare Foundation (Skill Development Centre), Ramol, Ahmedabad
The session was conducted for underprivileged women and girls from the surrounding areas who are given vocational training at the Skill Development Centre, which is run under the Prime Minister’s Skill India Project. Although the women and girls are skilled, they lack self confidence and have a very low self image.
It was a four hour programme, held in two segments, viz.
1) “Tears to Smiles” – Confidence and Attitude Building and
2) “First Impressions” – Self-worth and Self-image.
The training also touched on the important aspects of Body Language and how it makes or breaks one’s first impression.
The programme was attended by 55 participants. It was a highly interactive programme with active and enthusiastic participation from the attendees.
By the end of the programme, they were highly inspired and motivated. The attendees expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the trainers for helping them realise their self worth and self image and thus boost their confidence levels.
