The IMPA Bangalore Chapter conducted an impactful session on Goal Setting for 25 enthusiastic students at GHPS School, Madanaalli. Ms Niveditha RG, our dedicated member, thoughtfully facilitated the session, ensuring students had an enriching and memorable learning experience.
With an engaging mix of activities and practical frameworks, the session empowered students to dream big and take structured steps toward their aspirations.
Session Highlights:
- Types of Goals: A relatable discussion to help students differentiate between short-term and long-term goals through daily life examples.
- SMART Goal Setting Method: Introducing the importance of setting Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Rewarding, and Time-bound goals.
- FRAME Framework: A unique and structured approach that broke down Fantasize, Reality, Aim, Method, and Evaluation using real-life scenarios.
- Letter from Future Self: A creative and reflective exercise where students penned down messages from their future successful selves — a true highlight of the session!
- Goal-setting Graffiti Wall: Students boldly expressed their aspirations on a wall, making their dreams visible and tangible.
- Accountability Buddy System: Pairing students to support and motivate each other on their goal journeys.
- Simple Vision Board: Introducing visualisation techniques and guiding students to picture their dreams and goals mentally.
The session concluded with a warm vote of thanks and heartfelt reflections from the students. It was truly moving to witness them participate sincerely and take ownership of their dreams with genuine passion.
