Chennai Chapter Collaborates with Nipuni Career Pathing to Empower Young Women

The Chennai Chapter collaborated with Nipuni Career Pathing for a meaningful series of sessions aimed at empowering young women through structured career readiness training.

Launched during the 12th edition of Udyog Utsav by Tamil Nadu’s Minister for School Education, Nipuni is a transformative career readiness program dedicated to supporting college-going girls from underprivileged backgrounds. Over the next three years, the initiative aims to equip 10,000 students with essential skills that enable them to transition confidently into white-collar careers and contribute meaningfully to India’s growing workforce.

The first workshop in this series, titled “From Learner to Leader – Enabling Young Women to Become Career Ready,” was conducted at Shri Shankarlal Sundarbai Shasun Jain College, T. Nagar, Chennai. The session focused on building a strong leadership mindset, enhancing career readiness, and fostering professional orientation among young female students.

The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 60 students, who remained actively engaged throughout the session. Mr. Davis Prabhu, Chapter Secretary, led the training with clarity, insight, and practical relevance. Both students and faculty members expressed deep appreciation for the session, highlighting the practicality, clarity, and real-world impact of the content delivered.

Kudos to Davis Prabhu and Team Chennai for their unwavering commitment to social responsibility and for championing women’s empowerment through meaningful, skill-based learning initiatives.
