Communication and Workplace Readiness

The IMPA Delhi Chapter conducted a CSR session on “Communication and Workplace Readiness” at CEHRO NGO for 45 women enrolled in the stitching program. The session was facilitated by Ms. Anjali Basra and Ms. Roopal Khandelwal.

The session focused on building awareness around effective communication, workplace behaviour, and professional interactions. Through structured activities and role-plays, participants explored how appearance, tone, and choice of words influence workplace relationships and perceptions. Interactive exercises, including real-life workplace scenarios and vocal communication demonstrations, helped participants understand the importance of respectful and responsible communication. A reflective activity further encouraged participants to internalize key learnings and connect them to their daily work environment.

The session concluded with a strong collective affirmation: “Mera vyavhar meri takat” (My behaviour is my strength), reinforcing the importance of behaviour in professional success. The session witnessed active participation, strong engagement, and visible confidence among participants in applying the concepts discussed.
