IMPA Delhi Chapter conducted a CSR session titled “Workplace Grooming & Personal Presentation” as part of the Saksham Nari – Confidence & Livelihood Readiness Program. The session was facilitated by Ms. Barkha Bhatia and Ms. Kusha Bhardwaj.
The session was designed for women working as house helps and cooks, with the objective of creating awareness around simple, practical grooming habits that enhance confidence and professional presence at the workplace.
Participants were guided on selecting subtle and appropriate makeup shades suitable for work, maintaining neat hairstyles, choosing comfortable and well-fitted clothing, and managing deep necklines using practical solutions. The discussion also covered avoiding heavy accessories and strong fragrances while working, emphasizing cleanliness, modesty, and functionality in everyday presentation.
The session focused on accessible and affordable practices that participants could easily incorporate into their daily routines. It successfully strengthened awareness about personal grooming as a reflection of self-respect, discipline, and professionalism.
