The IMPA Delhi Chapter conducted a POCSO Awareness Session for Class 7 and 8 girls at Government School, Saomi Nagar, facilitated by Jaspreet and Kusha.
The session focused on helping students understand personal boundaries, recognising discomfort, identifying safe adults, and responding to inappropriate behaviour across physical, emotional, and online spaces. Participants were introduced to the POCSO Act in simple terms and engaged in activities such as “What Would You Say?” and relatable case-study discussions.
The session also highlighted the importance of speaking up, seeking help, and knowing that support is available through CHILDLINE 1098. Interactive chart activities and discussions created an open, judgement-free learning environment, equipping students with practical awareness and confidence to protect their boundaries and seek help when needed.
