IMPA Gurgaon Chapter Members conducted two sessions on financial literacy and entrepreneurship in collaboration with ADORE India.
The Financial Literacy session, led by Shikha Yadav, saw 45 enthusiastic participants eager to understand the fundamentals of managing money. The session emphasized the importance of financial awareness for individuals aged 18-25 in India, covering key concepts such as personal finance, financial products, budgeting, saving, and investing. Participants were introduced to an Excel-based budgeting tool, providing them with a practical resource to manage their finances effectively.
Following this, Sukhvinder Kaur led an engaging session on Entrepreneurship, where 31 aspiring entrepreneurs explored the core aspects of starting and sustaining a business. The discussion focused on acquiring entrepreneurial skills, identifying the right business idea, curating a solid business plan, and overcoming challenges in the business cycle. The interactive nature of the session kept participants engaged, especially during a quiz segment that sparked enthusiasm and healthy competition. The trainees showcased logical, market-driven ideas, demonstrating strong business acumen and an understanding of market needs. Real-life case studies, anecdotes, and examples made the learning experience more relatable, enabling participants to connect with the topic and the trainer.
Kudos to Team Gurgaon, Shikha, and Sukhinder for their dedication and ongoing efforts to make a difference at a grassroots level!
