A Month of Empowering Learning-A Marathon of Sessions by the Mumbai Chapter in Collaboration with Kotak Education Foundation

The IMPA Mumbai Chapter partnered with the Kotak Foundation to conduct training sessions to equip undergraduate students with essential life and professional skills. This impactful CSR initiative focused on helping students navigate their academic, personal, and career journeys confidently.

With an emphasis on personal development, the sessions bridged the gap between classroom learning and real-world expectations. A team of dedicated IMPA Mumbai members led engaging and interactive sessions across key areas:

  • One-on-One Speaking Sessions: Sumitha, Jasmine, Vinath, Ritu Rathod, and Rashmi provided focused coaching to help students enhance their verbal communication and express themselves more effectively.
  • Interview Skills: Natasha and Nishi shared practical tips and conducted mock interviews to prepare students for job opportunities.
  • Presentation Skills: Vinath and Nishi guided students in creating and delivering impactful presentations.
  • Extempore Speaking Practice: Nishi led exercises to boost spontaneity, fluency, and confidence in impromptu speaking.
  • Grooming and Professional Etiquette: Nishi offered insights into dressing appropriately and making lasting first impressions.
  • Role Plays: Jasmine facilitated real-life scenario simulations to provide hands-on experience in workplace and interview settings.

Students participated enthusiastically and demonstrated notable growth in communication, confidence, and professional readiness.

Kudos to Sumitha, Jasmine, Vinath, Ritu Rathod, Rashmi, Natasha and Nishi for their tireless efforts and heartfelt thanks to the Kotak Foundation for their continued collaboration in making this initiative impactful.
