The IMPA Pune Chapter conducted its monthly CSR activity at Muktangan Rehabilitation Centre, Yerwada, led by our dynamic and dedicated member, Ms. Rohini Erram. With her vast professional experience and deep commitment to personal growth, Rohini chose a profoundly impactful theme for the session—Gratitude.
Having followed a gratitude routine for over a year, Rohini has witnessed firsthand how often we overlook life’s seemingly tiny but profoundly positive moments. Inspired by this realisation, she designed the session to help the participants at Muktangan recognise and appreciate the hidden blessings in their own lives.
The session started with Rohini sharing her journey, highlighting the challenging moments that led to unexpected positive realisations. She then encouraged participants to reflect on their experiences and identify silver linings they could recognise in hindsight. As members courageously shared their stories, the atmosphere in the room became filled with introspection and hope.
Building on this, Rohini explained the power of gratitude—its benefits for mental well-being and practical ways to incorporate it into daily life. To reinforce the learning, she conducted an engaging group activity where participants listed three things they were grateful for. Interestingly, while many found it easy to list their struggles, they realised how challenging it was to acknowledge their blessings—a powerful insight that underscored the session’s purpose.
The session was interactive, thought-provoking, and moving, leaving a lasting impact on everyone present. Members of IMPA Pune, Chapter Secretaries, and the Chapter President also attended the session to extend their support.
Kudos to Rohini for leading this inspiring session for a sensitive group!
