IMPA Pune Chapter collaborates with Muktangan Rehabilitation for a session on '5 Simple Ways Of Developing Emotional Intelligence'

We are thrilled to announce an ongoing and long-term collaboration between the IMPA Pune Chapter and Muktangan Rehabilitation Centre, founded in 1986 by Mr. P.L. Deshpande. This center is renowned for its dedicated work in overcoming alcohol and drug addiction.

IMPA Pune Member Smruti Mehadia designed and led an inspiring session on Five Simple Ways of Developing Emotional Intelligence for the residents of Muktangan Rehabilitation Centre.

The session focused on the importance of emotional intelligence across personal, professional, and social spheres, the benefits of being emotionally intelligent, tips for regulating emotions, responding vs. reacting, nurturing meaningful relationships, and maintaining an optimistic mindset.

It was an engaging, immersive session with relevant activities, and the inmates were eager to adopt tips to enhance their emotional intelligence.

Kudos to Smruti for her dedication and selfless efforts to make a difference for a sensitive group!
