Resolving Conflicts, Empowering Lives: IMPA Pune’s CSR Initiative at Muktangan

The IMPA Pune Chapter conducted its monthly CSR initiative at Muktangan Rehabilitation Centre, Yerwada, with an insightful session led by our dynamic member and seasoned fashion designer, Ms. Pracchi Sathe.

Recognising how unresolved conflicts can strain relationships and hinder growth, Pracchi thoughtfully chose Conflict Resolution as the theme, aiming to equip participants with practical tools for navigating conflict constructively.

Key Highlights of the Session:

  • Interactive Introduction: Pracchi’s relatable activities and clear communication kept the audience engaged.
  • Understanding Conflict: Discussions on what causes conflicts, how they manifest, and why different situations call for different resolution approaches.
  • Types & Techniques: Participants explored different conflict styles and learned to adapt strategies based on scenarios.
  • Role Play: In groups of 4-5, participants acted out real-life conflict scenarios, practising techniques to de-escalate conflicts and reach mutual understanding.
  • Conflict Style Identification: Each participant discovered their natural conflict style and brainstormed ways to enhance it.

The session fostered self-awareness, helping participants embrace more flexible and creative problem-solving approaches. Pracchi’s relatable activities and clear communication kept the audience engaged throughout.

The IMPA Pune Chapter President, Secretaries, and members joined to support and cheer on Pracchi’s efforts to provide such a meaningful experience.

Kudos to Pracchi for her thoughtful facilitation and to the IMPA Pune Chapter for their continued commitment to creating positive change through CSR initiatives.
